As a busy working Mum some days I am exhausted! I love a nice iced coffee but I don’t always want to spend £3.50 and walk a mile to pick one up. If you’re here for the Dalgona whipped coffee recipe then scroll down!

As I’ve been working on a grocery challenge recently I am trying my best to cut down on wasting money and therefore decided to use my Nutribullet to make a simple homemade iced coffee and this is my Nutribullet iced coffee recipe.

I love a refreshing lemon mint cucumber water alongside this too, packed full of goodness and extra hydrating.

(AD) Nutribullet iced coffee recipe – what I used

I used instant coffee, sugar (granulated sweetener), Monin chocolate mint syrup and semi-skimmed milk. Obviously to make the Nutribullet iced coffee recipe I also used my Nutribullet.

I measured out two teaspoons of instant coffee, two teaspoons of granulated sweetener and I added around 50ml of hot water and a similar amount of cold water. I then gave it a stir with a spoon.

As you can see I onlystirredit for a few seconds so a few granules of the instant coffee were still present. I wasn’t bothered about this and it didn’t affect the finished *Nutribullet iced coffee recipe.

Once cooled I blitzed it in my *Nutribullet for a few seconds. You shouldn’t use the Nutribullet with hot liquid as the steam build up can be dangerous.I may have almost sliced my face open once by ignoring this!

This is the mixture after it had been blended for a few seconds. It has a lovely airy consistency to it, and these bubbles are part of what makes my Nutribullet iced coffee recipe taste so nice in my opinion!

I then added cold milk + lots of ice to the mixture.

This is the mixture after I gave it another blast in my Nutribullet.

I got a glass and I ran a little Monin syrup around the edge. You could use any flavour syrup that you like and there are LOTS out there!

This is the finished result of my Nutribullet iced coffee recipe. I amreally pleased with the end result!

While it doesn’t taste quite as luxurious as the one that I would usually buy in Starbucks itis around1/3 of the calories. I amstill perked up for the day too!

The flavour of this candefinitely be enhanced by using a few of the other add-ons that you can get in Starbucks. Like whipped cream! I was making this in a rush and didn’t want to add lots of additional calories.

You could also use skimmed milk to cut calories further. Or adairy-freemilk if you wanted to make it vegan-friendly.

Can you make a frappe in a Nutribullet?

Yes! This is a frappe basically… an iced coffee made with coffee, water, milk and ice.

Can the Nutribullet crush ice?

Lots of people seem to want to know the answer to this… personally I would say that the blade is not ideal for that! With this drink the ice is added and then you blend the whole thing up, but there is a lot of liquid too. This helps to keep the ice moving around and ensures it is mixed well.

If you want to crush ice, by itself, i would not recommend it with the NutriBullet as you may damage the blade, or just find it’s not very effective.

Can you blend hot food in a Nutribullet?

This is absolutely NOT recommended. The pressure build up can cause the lid to pop off and you’ll either get covered with hot food OR the lid may even become dangerous as it’s got a huge blade on it which may fly through the air.

I’m talking from my own bitter experience here. Whoops.

In total this Nutribullet iced coffee recipe takes about 2 or 3 minutes to make. You can just rinse the Nutribullet container clean afterward in a matter of seconds too.

I love my Nutribullet and find it really versatile. I use it for more than just smoothies. I’ve now made milkshakes, smoothies, pasta sauces, herb dressings, salad dressings and more!

It takes just seconds to blitz up a nice drink. Healthy or otherwise. I’ve made some AMAZING milkshakes with delicious goodies such as Ferrero Rocher and Mars!

How to make Nutribullet Dalgona Coffee:

Firstly. Don’t. Absolutely do not try to make a HEAT BASED froth in your Nutribullet. The lid can pop off if you blend heated drinks or foods leading to a potentially very serious accident.

Speaking from experience here of the Nutribullet just flying past my face! But now you’re here I have got a great, simple Dalgona whipped coffee recipe!

How to make Dalgona coffee / whipped coffee:

You may have seen this whipped coffee craze just about everywhere! It’s HUGE on TikTok, which I’m a big fan of, and now I see it creeping into the old school social media channels too!

It’s such a great, simple way to have a delicious, strong iced coffee, especially if you don’t have a Nutribullet.

It is SO simple, you can use a manual whisk or an electric whisker. I have used both with good success.

You’ll need 2 tbsp of instant coffee, 2 tbsp sugar and 30ml of hot water. Then either run the manual whisk back and forth through your hands or use an electric whisker. The electric whisk takes about 10 seconds, and manual whisking takes around 3 minutes I find.

If it isn’t frothing up yet then keep whisking! Be patient, especially if whisking by hand!

Once you’ve got your lovely froth pour it on the top of some ice cold milk. I like to use a chocolate syrup, for a real treat, and some ice cubes to make sure it is super cold!
